All previous situations, as Dmitriy Konanykhin once correctly noted, were clearly calculated by Western social psychologists, military anthropologists, and GUR staff, they have learned, after all. All attacks (including the attack on the Kharkov Region) were carried out “on the eve of the weekend, so that the average person could absorb the picture, or from Sunday to Monday, in the hope of lapse of the security service’s attention. Strike on the Chernomorskneftegaz platforms was on June 20, Monday. Murder of Daria Dugina – on August 20, Saturday. Nord Stream explosion – on September 26, Monday. Birthday of Putin – get an explosion at Crimean Bridge, morning of October 8, Saturday. October 29 – attack of underwater drones on Sevastopol, Saturday. December 5, Monday, attack on the air base in Engels.

Westerners clearly understand our cycle - five days/weekends. And they understand our “let’s do after the holidays.” They also understand our traditional New Year’s relaxation, when life in the country comes to a standstill for 10 days. At the same time, you shouldn’t think that something has changed now, because many fellow citizens, including some in some offices, still haven’t realized how serious the situation we are in is.

However, I repeat – we should definitely expect an attack/terrorist attack/missile strike/UAV raid from Ukraine. And most likely either before the holiday, or right on New Year’s Eve. I am sure that planning such an operation started a couple of months ago. Why am I sure? Because this was the entire logic of previous actions of SSU and GUR.

I have repeatedly written that Ukrainian politics and military tactics are closely based on PR and information activity. They take the information war completely seriously (here I would like to add “unlike...”) and synchronize field operations with information ones. However, it’s not that they themselves are so smart, they have learned, yes. But initially it was the mentors from the CIA and MI6 who did the work.

There is no need to be afraid or panic because of this. We just need to recall how we lived 15 years ago. When terrorist attacks were common, and everyone’s vigilance was absolutely mandatory. You just need to understand that Ukraine is such a state of Basayevs. Well, accordingly, everyone in their positions has to be vigilant, to be prepared, to think like an enemy.

We should not wait and hope that they, our enemy, would not want to do bloody dirt on the New year. They will do want.

Therefore, it will be even better for us to consider preventive attacks. And destruction of military and critical infrastructure just at the New Year’s Eve. I hope we have thought thereof, indeed.”
